Giving

Business as mission.

A portion of what The Safer Church earns goes to ministry beyond the church walls.

Why we give

“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.”
— Colossians 3:23–24

The Safer Church grew out of a calling. Scripture asks some of us to keep watch over the flock, as overseers and watchmen standing guard over the people God has entrusted to us. We’re protectors, and we do so because it’s the calling that God has given to us.

Colossians 3 says to do that work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men. We aren’t here to impress anyone. We’re here to serve God by watching over His people, and that’s the whole point.

Giving comes from the same place. What this company earns is entrusted to us, not owned by us, so a portion of it goes back to His work beyond our own walls.
