There is no wrong number here. The amount is between you and God — give what fits your church this season, and change it whenever that changes.
Common questions
If I choose a team size, am I limited to only that number of people?
No. If your team grows beyond the level you chose, you won't be blocked from adding people. We'll let you know when you've grown past your initial plan, but it's always up to you to set the support level that fits your team.
Our team is larger than 100. What then?
The slider tops out at 100+, but larger teams are welcome. The same one-dollar-per-person guideline still applies — reach out to support@thesaferchurch.com and we'll set you up at the level that fits your team.
Our church is multi-site. Can you help?
Yes. Multi-site churches are welcome — reach out to support@thesaferchurch.com and we'll set you up across your campuses in the way that fits how your church is organized.
Do lower levels get fewer features?
No. Every church gets the same full-featured platform, whatever you choose to pay. The level you pick reflects what your church can give — never what you receive.
Can we change what we pay later?
Yes. You can raise or lower your amount at any time, with no penalty and no renegotiation. As your team grows or your budget shifts, your contribution can change right along with it.
What if our church can't afford even the lowest amount?
Reach out to us. Business as Mission means a church's safety shouldn't depend on its resources — if the floor is still out of reach, we'll work with you to find something that fits.
Is this a donation or a subscription?
It's a subscription to a product your team uses, with the amount set by you — not a charitable donation. That's deliberate: it keeps this a real, sustainable tool rather than a giveaway. If tax treatment matters for your church, check with your own advisor.
What does our payment support?
It keeps the platform running and improving, and it helps hold the door open for churches with fewer resources. Choosing the Shepherd level goes a step further — it helps cover a church that can only give at the floor.
